A Season of Change

Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans.

- John Lennon

For the past month, Donna and I have had to put into action contingency plans we didn’t consider possibilities before.  But life has a way of getting in the way of best laid plans.  As September faded into October, Jennifer had to step back to take care of her family during a time of illness.  Donna, Carrie, Mat and I gladly stepped forward to help fill the void.

The truth is, though, that when the void is as big as the absence of Jennifer from daily conversations, catching up takes some time. Despite our best efforts, emails don’t get returned as quickly, phone calls go unanswered for too long and events cannot get staffed the way they used to.  Life moves forward 24 hours at a time, yet there aren’t enough minutes in each of those hours to catch up the way we’d like to.

But we’re trying because the pieces are there, it just takes some rearranging.

For the near future, Jennifer is taking a leave of absence. Family is important. We tell our veterans that all the time and it is sound advice for everyone.  In the meantime, as we move toward year-end with so many awesome things happening, bear with us.  We are diligently working to put into place new and exciting things and to wrap up the ones we are working on already.

To ensure that your questions and answers are getting answered as quickly as possible, please email us only at this time.  To better route your question or concern you can fill out our contact form found here.  That will get the question to the appropriate person in a more timely fashion.

Thank you all so much for all of your kind words and thoughts.  We still have many dogs and veterans in training through the end of the year.  Make sure to follow them on Facebook and Rally and check back here for more exciting news as the year comes to an end.

Life isn’t easy. The best we can do is romp through the leaves once in awhile and keep on plugging away.  Our veterans do it for ours. The dogs do it for them.  We plan on following their lead.

No matter what, we’ve got your back.
