Randy Conat, originally interviewed Stiggy’s Dogs for our Home Depot Veteran Celebration of Service Day September 20th 2012.   A few weeks later, I received a call from Randy, asking if we specifically had a Veteran or Dog that lived in their viewing area. He was very impressed with our organization and what he learned that day. He wanted to *pitch* another story on us to his boss. “Yes!” I rambled on quickly, “We recently paired Mike and Barrett who reside in Midland, and we have a dog in training  Corpsman, who was Fostered by Lynda Gibson and Sponsored by Dr. Darrow of Bavarian Veterinary Hospital of Frankenmuth Michigan!”

Well, a few weeks later and lots of planning (I am grateful for Randy’s tenacity in making this interview). Thank You Randy Conat and Channel 12 News. More than that….Thank you Mike and Mollie Grywalsky, for having the courage to speak  out and share your story with others. Mollie, Vice President, of Voice Of Warriors, took the time to help our organization, where hers equally deserves some air time for all they do for our Veterans (Check them out!)

Watching Mike and Barret during this interview….seeing Mollie sitting by him with pride, the children happy as they ask Barrett to *sit* … was the breath of fresh air I needed personally. And watching this the interview will hold a lasting impression on anyone who asks,“What do your dogs do?”  …. this->
