The month of May is finally here, I have been waiting for it since last July….

After winning Aprons In Action last June, the path for Stiggy’s future changed. We jumped ahead of our original plan with the help of Home Depot AND our wonderful community. The sense of pride shared by many.

It is such a honor to be a part of something so BIG. I never dreamed (but often wished) that Stiggy’s Dogs would make a difference, in not only the lives of the Veterans and the Dogs…but make a impact everywhere, build Public Awareness, and bridge the gap between the Veteran and civilian community. The best part is that we achieved this and all because of YOU, our supporters, friends and now family.

I am not sure how much sleep I will get this month. The stress of watching the voting everyday was unnerving last time. Stiggy’s Dogs does not have the outreach, fundamental base like many of the larger organizations we are going against. I feel overwhelmed being such a small fish in a big pond. Then I take a deep breathe and realize that at least we are in the pond….. and we are going to swim like you have never seen …
